Ingredients
500gm pork or beef mince (ground)
1 can crushed tomatoes
2 tblspn paprika
1 tsp cayenne pepper (it’s the hot one use to your taste)
1tspn cumin ground
1tspn oregano
pepper to taste
2 cloves garlic
1/2 onion cut into small pieces
1 capsicum or jalapeño peppers if you want hotter,
1 cup bone broth or chicken stock.
1 tbsp Ghee or butter
Method
Fry garlic and onions in ghee until translucent.
Add mince (ground) meat and spices and cook until meat is brown and crumbled.
Add tomatoes, bone broth and capsicum.
Simmer with the lid off for about 12 minutes or until it is your desired consistency. I don’t like mine too runny.
I served mine with cheese biscuits, sour cream, grated cheddar cheese and lettuce. Quick and delicious.
I would say this makes about 4-5 serves depending on your serving size
